Just wanted to post a most unusual thing I have ever seen from last night! I have never seen a crescent moon in the shape of a bowl before!!!  I have since found out that this wet moon or water moon only occurs January 20 to February 18th but it all depends on your latitude during that time!!some say this is a "dry" moon because it it is holding in the water!

A fruit stand and the most common mode of transportation on Ambergris Caye and San Pedro Belize - the mighty golf cart!!

Off prompt- it rained cats and dogs overnight so no actual sunrise this morning. The hurricanes have really played havoc with the docks here! This one is at a public access point. Lots of mistakes but I'm happy I was bold to do this "sans caffeine" while my husband was still sleeping!

Today's page is s continuation from yesterday's post! This morning I made an image transfer of my little bunny drawing. I transferred my image onto some tissue paper that some glassware I purchased was wrapped in. At that time I had slapped on some paint but that was it. Then I thought the creamy paper need something else so I added a bit of this and a bit of stamping and spraying and here it is.

I'm not totally in love with this page but I enjoyed the process and will do image transfer again!!

I'm not exactly sure what the text box will say but it will be something like: she is a very optimistic bunny because she doesn't need a crystal ball to see sun, sand and azure waters in her very near future!!

Off prompt- another day got away from me... this painting of our little wild brown bunny that I drew in graphite awhile back.  Thought I would give it a go in pen and gouache in Strathmore toned tan sketchbook.

Off prompt- pressed for time so this one is unfinished and I think it will remain that way! Thanks to Teri from Sktchy for great photo but I don't have the time for her awesome hair!

This is an "as is" - Just 2B no smudging or eraser

Off prompt- I drove to town today and went to see the Franklin Carmichael watercolour that they have at the Orillia Public Library in their local history room. The historian on duty took the painting off the wall for me so I could spend some time looking at it.   What really struck me was how he was able to make use of the white of the paper. It looked like he used a charcoal pencil for the drawing.  The title is just the place - La Cloche Mountain (range), Lake Huron near Manitoulin Island,  Northern Ontario

Clearly my version does not depict the absolute beauty of this master painter.  I had a good time giving it a go though!!
