Today we have Hanna
I thought it might be s but easier since there weren't much on facial features to worry about since most is hidden by the camera. No big worries with it since everyone knows what s camera poke like and with fill in any errors in drawing or simply not notice. When I started drawing, it hit me..... the dreaded hands. Ugh!!I know that Hanna loves pink but I hated the pink against her hair so I chose this gelli-printed index card instead.

sked me to paint her profile picture! What an awesome photograph! You are really pushing me with this one; first, I've never drawn or painted a dandelion before; second, I avoid drawing hands like the plague!

Today's face belongs to Rick over on Sktchy. He doesn't make art but he has inspired over 450 drawings from the hundreds of photos he's posted for inspiration. I used this on because I couldn't recall the last time I had drawn s profile portrait (hmm that might be never)

Part 1/2 I saw a cover of a magazine called Faces by Cloth Paper Scissors and thought I would give it a go. Don't know what the technique used was but this is what I did: gesso foundation in my sketchbook, oil pastel and watercolours.
Thanks to Avril from Sktchy.
2017-1. Actually this is my second attempt at Avril from Sktchy. Stamp pad ink and stencils for background (on an index card of course). The drawing was done on a book page then collaged. I used my Pentel brush pen, watercolour mixed with gesso, and Stabilo all pencil.
