Some of you might know that I like to document my life.  The meds I am in prevent me from driving so I took the opportunity to drive and paint in the hour and s half car ride!  I never get a chance to sit in the passenger side of my own car. Happiness is...,making art!  There is lots that could be done but for now I am finished with it.  I did too much yesterday on the hike.  But it was all worth it besides we had purchased the tickets way in advance and  unable to turn back.

sitting on the deck while my hubby was BBQ'ing our supper and drawing.  I clearly had food on my mind when the Hank Williams tune popped in my head.  Doggie's name is Ogim and I have enjoyed drawing him before. I used the Elegant writer by Speedball with a 3.0 calligraphy nib. I have had it awhile and haven't used it much. Happiness is a full page spread in my Moleskine

A quick sketch this afternoon while at the beer tent!  We totally enjoyed drinking locally crafted beer especially a new one that tastes like a grapefruit radler but is a full on beer (from Horseshoe Valley only a few miles up the road)!  However, we decided to buy our food (ribs and chicken for me) and bring it home.

I just wish this brewery had their "mojito" lime beer available (unfortunately sold out).

ou an Amazonian vibe. It is quite a nice look really but I hope you like it too.  I figured that Wonder Woman likes to wear red so I deepened the colour to go with the strength in your face.

My biggest challenge was trying to figure out the rimless glasses; I never did so they are a bit in the wonky side.

Okay so I'm switching things up again! I was going to go back to my alphabetical line up but but I had an idea niggling in the back of my mind.  When Stacy volunteered to participate in my portrait project, I told her that she had "scary" hair.  I thought I would put my "big girl panties on" (so to speak) and tackle my fear head on. I decided I need to switch up the medium as well so today's face features Sharpie pen and alcohol markers.

These two faces are inspired by Kate Elliott.  Thanks Kate for taking part in my personal challenge!  I think this is my second try at a cat! I don't think I quite got him by as a whole I love the two of you together!  I don't know if I have the eyes right but I don't really care; I just like it a lot!
