Demolition

It was freezing the other day but I didn't realize just how cold it was until I finished drawing the gazebo. It is on Dunlop Street East in Barrie and it has been set for demolition. The story in the paper  says that the City doesn't wish to spend $50,000 to renovate the 81 year old structure! I have fond memories of spending time there as a teenager. We would "hang out" because there wasn't much else to do!

I left it unpainted to signify its disappearance from the downtown landscape.

Here is the actual boarded up structure!
