I wanted to check out the art that was on display here as part of the township participation in "Culture Day". I took the road less travelled and stopped in to see the artist show and sale at the Carley Hall. I did this sketch before heading into town to see in other exhibits.
Carley Hall was originally a one room school built in 1902. Unfortunately the event was not promoted well and only 12 people had been through to see the artists work on display.
I was very happy to have had an opportunity to get a drawing down even though I didn't paint it on site.
