I really must stop complaining, one day it’s “poor me” and the next day it’s YIPPEE!!
No one is as surprised as we are to see this couple of peacocks back in our yard. Funnily enough, I thought I heard their call yesterday when I got home from town. I looked around, checked the trees too and only saw a crow. Then this morning voilà these beauties have returned.
Oh yes, this is the first long weekend of summer, Victoria Day long weekend that we call May TWO-FOUR long weekend (A 24 is a case of beer). I’m not a big beer drinker but I did go to the liquor store yesterday to beat the crush of people.
