A winter window

Not all experiments turn out the way we think they might....because... they are just that...experiments!  I have a jar of Watercolour ground that I want to try out. I also had the backing from a mailing label so I wondered what would happen...slapped on the ground and if bubbled. I rather nice lacy effect. I thought it looked wonderful; it might be good to be used as a focal point. When it was dry, I picked up the plastic label backing sheet and the ground literally fell off the label. Oh boy....I was bummed!  This is what I can up with. This is how our porch windows look like mid-winter in the early morning (February) when it is -30C and the morning sun is shining on them.

That is my card for today, such as it is!
