I live in the boondocks so I don't have a stellar internet connection, that means I see my videos the old-fashioned way....via library book!! I have one that reminded me of some techniques I haven't tried out yet. I laid down an "under painting" of burnt sienna. Then I tried "palette knife" painting using the "impasto" method of painting. I had loads of fun giving it a go! My only recommendation is that a heavy body or tube acrylic be used. I used mostly Liquitex Basics, in my opinion they are a bit soft for this technique.
