We saw loons fishing

Our family has left for home as they have to work tomorrow and school starts.  We have a couple of days here without them.  We miss them but like the quiet. We went for a walk on a trail in the bush along the lake today.  My husband fished and got frustrated that he didn’t get anything.  We watched 3 loons (the common loon is our provincial bird) fish and I think (know)  they were doing better than him! I used some watercolour (Lyra) crayons that I have had for ages.  Don’t recall buying them but I have had loads of fun using them this summer!  I sketched in using a grey pencil crayon but stopped when I realized it wasn’t water soluble. Now I’m kinda chicken to add water to the crayon drawing.
